I have  more than 20 years of experience working for various small and large Chartered Accountants offices in the Nottingham area.

As a Manager, I looked after a mixed portfolio of clients, preparing accounts and dealing with all aspects of their tax affairs. I was also the office ‘VAT expert’ and helped research any tax problems that arose.

At my last employer I was fully involved in the firm’s move into computerisation and in the development of the software being used.

But I always had a dream of running my own business and when I was  offered voluntary redundancy as part of my employers reorganisaton following computerisation it gave me the incentive that I needed. I don’t have the overheads of the big firms – who can also be a little impersonal at times – so my clients can be assured of my personal attention at all times,

I am a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians licensed to engage in public practice with full professional indemnity cover.
